York Region is widening Yonge Street adjacent to Upper Canada Mall’s Entrance Three for improved traffic flow off Yonge Street.
In order to do this, storm water management is necessary and therefore the 2x storm ponds have been consolidated into 1 pond and associated underground infrastructure will be adjusted as needed.
Beginning Friday, October 14th, 2022, the entire parking lot starting from Sport Chek up to the entrance for the new LCBO, will be blocked. Entrance 3 will remain open.
These disruptions are expected to be resolved by Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022 at the earliest. We will keep guests informed of the progress as we are updated by York Region.
