    Front Staff- Bakery Assistant

    Front Staff – Bakery Assistant will be responsible for preparing the store for opening and serving customers during
    the morning shift. The Front Staff – Bakery Assistant is also responsible for supporting the Senior Baker and ensuring
    that the store front and the kitchen are clean and tidy. The Front Staff – Bakery Assistant will report directly to the
    Senior Baker. The Bakery assistant will complete tasks that include, but are not limited to:
     Greeting customers and taking orders
     Ensuring that customers’ orders are accurate and prepared in a timely manner
     Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages
     Assembling and serving prepared food (sandwiches and bagels)
     Operate the cash register
     Making sure display baskets/cases are replenished in a timely manner.
     Monitoring stock level of ingredients and products for resale and report to the Baker as part of supply
    management
     Cleaning and maintaining the store front and baking workspace clean and tidy on a daily basis.
     Providing support to the Bakers
     Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the baking workspace and store front.

    SKILLS NEEDED
    • Styling experience in luxury fashion and/or strong knowledge of trends and designer brands with the ability to translate that knowledge into solving customer styling needs
    • Effective communicator with experience in creating meaningful connections with customers that build brand loyalty
    • Flexible and adaptable to work shifts that meet the needs of the business; flexible and/or consistent scheduling may be available
    • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office and lift up to 30lb, with or without a reasonable accommodation
