As a part of our Sales Team you are responsible for providing a superior experience to our valued customers. In addition, you will:
Engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and desires
Ability to present merchandise and share detailed information regarding features and benefits of products
Provide information regarding extended service plans and financing options
Meet individual and team sales goals

Maximize personal & store sales results through selling, maintaining & covering zones.
SELL: Provide customer service utilizing Zumiez selling techniques.
MAINTAIN: Organize & present merchandise based on Zumiez merchandise techniques.
COVER: Provide customer service & prevent loss through awareness of your assigned section.

As a Lead, you’re responsible for supporting our management team by performing functional tasks as assigned. You will act as a mentor and role model to Experts & Brand Associates to support service behaviours and the execution of tasks in specific areas of expertise. You will focus on leading process(es) and/or areas of the business, executing tasks and maintaining productivity to ensure goals are met. Through collaboration with your leadership team, you’ll

Your Responsibility
Maximize personal sales consistently and build last customer relationships
Provide exceptional customer service
Provide a friendly and welcoming environment
Demonstrate how new product can mix with the existing stock and previous purchases
Demonstrate effective phone etiquette
Follow through with the customer experience by utilizing thank you card and maintaining a client book
Clean, vacuum, fold, size, steam, replenish as assigned
Be aspirational to your customers in all aspects of culture: fashion, music, art and technology
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the established dress code and image guidelines
Under the direction of the store manager, performs and completes other additional duties and assignments as required and/or requested
Your Prerequisites
Strong sense of personal style
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills supporting both a team environment and

Must be able to work neatly and organized in a fast paced environment. Experienced in the food industry is an asset to have but not required.
