But as the chill of cold weather approaches, what about Canadians who spend the winter months in the US? They add billions to the U.S. economy, own homes and apartments, and contribute in many ways to those local economies. Should they vote with their feet and dollars and stay away? Or is that going too far, since the U.S. remains a longstanding friend and ally?
